SHOPMOBILITY in Marlow – giving you the freedom of the town

MEMBERSHIP IS FREE!

Shopmobility is a scheme offering the FREE loan of manual or powered wheelchairs, or electric scooter to anyone with limited mobility, temporary or permanent.  Do do not have to be registered disabled to use the scheme.

Shopmobility is open from 9am Monday to Saturday and all wheelchairs and scooters must be returned by 4pm on the same day.

The Scheme is run by Marlow Town Council in partnership with Court Garden Leisure Centre.  It works on a first come first served basis and staff at the Leisure Centre will assist you through the registration process and give you instructions on how to operate the vehicle before you leave their premises.  There is ample parking in Court Garden car park.

Directions:  On entering Marlow High Street, follow the direction signs to Court Garden Leisure Centre in Pound Lane where you will see the signage for Shopmobility.

Shopmbility is dependant for its finance on grants, donations and sponsorship. Anyone wishing to support the scheme, please contact Marlow Town Council.

The Town Council would like to thank all those individuals who have donated in support of the scheme and in particular Waitrose Marlow and Marlow Thames Rotary Club who donated an electric scooter.
