Council Finances

The Resources Committee is responsible for budget setting as well as financial and administrative services.

The Committee maximises the use of the Town Council element of council tax to provide value for money in procuring and administering services.

Conclusion of the Audit 2019

Section 14 of the Audit Commission Act 1998 – Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2011 (SI 2011/817)

  1. The audit of accounts for the Council for the year ended 31st March 2019 has been concluded.
  2. The Annual Return is available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of the Council on application to: Hilary Martin, Town Clerk, Marlow Town Council, Court Garden, Pound Lane, Marlow SL7 2AG between the hours of 9am and 1pm on Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays), when any local government elector may take copies of the Annual Return.  
  3.  Copies will be provided to any local government elector on payment of £2 for each copy of the Annual Return.  Alternatively, it can be downloaded below
