There will be a circus feel about Marlow in the coming weeks as performers bring a family-friendly mix of circus workshop and performance to the town.
Professional Circus Artist Katy Kartwheel will demonstrate skills, including spinning plates, juggling, hula hooping, diablo, devil-sticks, pedal-go and twirling ribbons.
The free workshops will take place from 11am to 1pm on the Causeway – on Saturday 25th September and on Marlow Market Day 2nd October. Everyone is invited to have a go.
On 4th September the Chinese Pole will be included in the workshop, with an expert performance from Funky Fi, and on 25th September and 2nd October the Tightwire will be included with performances from Katy Kartwheel.
“We’re delighted to welcome these performers into the town,” Mayor Richard Scott said. “The aim is to provide a vibrant atmosphere as people return to our streets — and to support the re-opening of our shops and businesses.”
Funding is provided by Marlow Town Council and Buckinghamshire Council as part of the European Regional Development Funding under the ‘Welcome Back Fund’ that runs to 31st March 2022.
