In light of the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh the planned installation of the bunting this Sunday has been delayed by one week from the 12th to the 19th April 2021
Marlow will be celebrating the easing of lockdown and the opening of shops next week by putting up colourful bunting across the town centre.
The new street decorations will be installed on Sunday 12th April, in time for the reopening of retail outlets next Monday. Mayor Richard Scott said: “This is a small celebration of another milestone being achieved in the easing of lockdown — and a bright and cheery welcome back for shoppers to Marlow.”
The government announced this week that from Monday 12th April, all retail, outdoor hospitality, personal care, indoor leisure including gyms, libraries and community centres will be able to reopen, as well as most outdoor attractions, self-contained accommodation, all children’s activities and indoor parent and child groups in Buckinghamshire.
