Here’s everything you need to know before the event:
EVENT FORMAT
- The walk takes place between 6.30pm and 8.30pm
- The route is a flat 2.5k loop through residential streets
- Walk as many laps as you like within the two hour window
- You can start anytime after 6.30pm (once checked in)
- The more laps you complete – the more you can raise!
REGISTRATION (ESSENTIAL)
- Pre-registration is required – no on the day sign ups
- There is a small registration fee of £3 per adult and per child aged 3 and over

SPONSORSHIP (OPTIONAL)
Walkers can create their own online sponsorship page to raise more funds for the Mayor’s good causes.
WILDLIFE SPOTTING FUN
Along the route you’ll find Wild Marlow spotting stations to keep things interesting as you walk. Perfect for anyone who loves a little nature challenge while getting their steps in
SAFETY AND SUPERVISION
- Marshals will be positioned along the entire route
- All road crossing points are fully marshalled
- First aid will be available on site
- Participants take part at their own risk
- Under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

- There are no toilet facilities, so please plan accordingly
- Walkers must bring their own water
- Dog friendly – please keep all dogs on leads
- Buggy friendly
