This initiative gives families a simple and ecofriendly way to recycle their real Christmas trees after the festive season; while raising vital funds for their local children’s hospice and the specialist care provided to children and families across Berkshire, South Bucks and the surrounding counties.
Households in SL4, SL6, SL7, SL8 and RG10 can book their collection through the hospice website, and a team of volunteers will collect and recycle the tree for a donation. Collections will take place between Thursday 8 January and Saturday 10 January 2026, and bookings are open until midnight on Sunday 4 January.
Every donation helps Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service continue it’s vital services, including respite care, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, family support, end of life care and bereavement support, both in the hospice building, and out in the community.
