Carols on the Causeway 2024

This year’s Carols on the Causeway, organised by Marlow Town Council, will take place on Tuesday 17th December from 6.00 pm. Residents and visitors are invited to gather around the Christmas tree to sing their favourite carols from 6.30 pm, ably accompanied by members of Marlow Town Band.

Children will be delighted to hear that Santa Claus will hand out chocolate coins (courtesy of Marlow Town Council) in his grotto from 6.00 pm. Mulled wine and sweet treats will be provided free of charge by The Oarsman from 6.30pm (while stocks last).

The Mayor’s Charity is pleased to be supporting the One Can Trust at Carols on the Causeway this year and a representative of the charity will be on hand to take donations during the evening.

The Causeway will be closed and parking suspended from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm, and the lower half of the High Street (opposite The Causeway) and Marlow Bridge will be closed from 5.30 – 8.00 pm. Parking suspensions will also be in place. Station Road and Pound Lane will remain open.
