Marlow Town Council is responsible for the banners on both the High Street and Spittal Street throughout the year. Only banners advertising community events within the surrounding area are permitted, and are subject to approval by Town Council Officers. Before booking a banner, please read our Banner Policy, which includes a minimum specification for banners.
Banners are an excellent and cost effective way of advertising your event to the whole community and visitors to the town. Before submitting an Application Form please contact the office on 01628 484024 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to check availability.
The Town Council charges an administration fee for every banner booking. A banner booking is defined as 1 – 2 week period in one of the following locations: High Street or Spittal Street. For example 2 weeks in High Street for a Voluntary group would be £21.60; 1 week in Spittal Street for a school would be £43.20. There is no reduction for bookings of less than 2 weeks.

- Business £86.40 inc VAT
Payment by cheque (to Marlow Town Council) or BACS (by arrangement) must accompany your application form. Provisional bookings will only be held for 7 days.
Once your application has been approved, you will be referred to the appointed sub-contractor to make arrangements to erect the banner. Please note that our sub-contractor makes a separate charge of £220+VAT for erecting and removing the banner per booking.
